NIGERIAN DESIGNER LANRE DASILVA AJAYI DEBUTS SPRING/SUMMER 2013 COLLECTION 'BUTTERFLY KISSES' AT THE DOLCE & GABBANA CONCEPT STORE IN MILAN

Nigerian designer, Lanre DaSilva Ajayi is setting the pace for greater things in African fashion. For those who do not know, Lanre is the founder of LDA, a fashion label which first arrived on the Nigerian scene in 2005 "with iconic 1940's couture signature designs - a result of what has evolved into a much more modern and cutting-edge brand and a full-blown fashion house. The label's collection includes couture, prĂȘt a porter, and accessories such as hairpieces and statement jewellery." according to the company website.

LDA has since then gone on to stamp their mark on the fashion industry with features in L'Uomo Vogue and Vogue Italia, resulting in visits to the flagship store of the brand in Lagos by renowned designers among whom was renowned designer. Roberto Cavalli.

More recently, however, the beautiful married mother of two launched a new collection “Butterfly kisses” for the Spring/Summer 2013 season at the Dolce and Gabbana Spiga Concept store in Milan Italy.

The collection looks fun, edgy and suave! Lots of colour and personality too....
