SOO CHIC! ZIMBABWEAN BIG BROTHER STAR MAKHOSI IN NIGERIAN TRADITIONAL GEAR

Makhosi is the controversial star of Big Brother UK in 2005 mostly for the drama that followed her exit from the house relating to her immigration status in the UK. Well the busty star is in Nigeria now working on her TV show set to launch soon. She has also been announced as the new face of MakeUp & Beads By GeeBalo.

I think she looks great in her colourful traditional Nigerian outfit. For those who do not know, Makhosi in the second picture is rocking 'Iro & Buba' a ceremonial outfit usually worn by women for special occasions. The outfit is usually made from a range of different materials (Makhosi's is made from aso-oke, used widely by the creme of the society for weddings; the buba being the top and the iro tied like a wrap-around at the bottom. The gele completes the look; tied around the head in a turban-like fashion and trust me that requires expertise! Usually accessories like beads or gold necklaces, bracelets and ear-rings are used to keep the look more interesting!
