Following the media attention surrounding a leaked video of a physical altercation between Jay-Z and Beyonce's sister Solange, an employee of the Standard Hotel, where the alleged fight took place, has been sacked. However, this comes after sources claim TMZ had bought the tape for a $250,000 price after a tough bidding war that lasted for five days, making the hotel worker way more well off than he would have been had he stayed at the hotel.
Meanwhile it's been reported that the fight ensued as a result of the fact that Jay-Z had wanted to attend Rihanna's after-party without Beyonce, a decision that infuriated Solange. Both Jay-Z and Beyonce have declined to comment on the issue and neither would Solange but Solange and Jay-Z were spotted doing some jewelry shopping yesterday.
